Abstract
PURPOSE: For ensuring stabilized flow control of two pumps, to provide bypass system and a bypass valve on a flow control valve so that said bypass valve of the one already in operation of said pumps when the circulating valve of the one having started later than the other of said pumps operates.
CONSTITUTION: A bypass piping 31 and a bypass valve 30 are provided an water supply pump outlet valve (FWB)3 for controlling the discharge flow of a motor-driven water supply pump (MBFP)1. During the operation of said motor-driven water supply pump (MBFP)1, an equal water supply flow to that of the recirculation loop 17 of a turbine-driven boiler water supply pump (FBFP)12 is ensured for the loop of an FWB bypass 31. Further, during the operation of said motor-driven water supply pump (MBFP)1, water supply flow is controlled by controlling said FWB valve 3. In said turbine driven boiler water supply pump (FBFP)12 is started, a recirculating valve 16 is closed entirely when the discharge of said turbine driven boiler water supply pump (FBFP)12 has reached a fixed value. At this time, the quick variation of the water supply flow of a piping 14 is prevented by entirely closing said FWB valve 3 and a bypass valve 30. Thereby, the increment of the flow on TBEP side is absorbed on MBFP side so that the variation of whole flow can be minimized.
