PURPOSE: To conduct easy and precise control of air feed and to prevent vanadium pentoxide from depositing on a cyclone or the like by providing a low-pressure blower and feeding cooling air into an exhaust pipe extending from a fluidized bed furnace.
CONSTITUTION: For mixing and stirring the bodies to be burnt with a fluidizing medium 2 in a swirl-and-jet bed furnace 1, combustion air of about 2000W2500 mmH2O is fed from a high-pressure blower 3a. Cooling air of about 400 mmH2O is fed from a low-pressure blower 8 into an exhaust pipe 4 extending from the furnace 1 to a single cyclone 5. The exhaust gas is cooled to below about 500°C by the cooling air, so that deposition of vanadium pentoxide or the like is avoided. Because the two blowers are provided independently, air supply is controlled easily and precisely.
