Abstract

PURPOSE: To use a tug boat as oil recovering ship, by coupling barges on both broadsides of a ship that is used commonly as tug boad and providing an oil recovering pump and an oil tank in each of said barges.
CONSTITUTION: On both broadsides of a ship 1 of typical single-hull structure which is used commonly as tug boat in a harbor, there are coupled a pair of barges 3 to use the ship 1 as oil recovering ship. These barges 3 are shaped in a trapezoidal form as observed in their plan view, and triangular outflow oil guiding channels 6, 6 are formed longitudinally of the ship body. Each of these barges 3 is provided with outflow oil recoverying pump chamber 8 and oil collecting tank chamber 7, and oil collected via said guide channels 6, 6 is carried through hose 18 by oil-water drawing means 15 and reserved in tank chambers 7.
