Abstract
PURPOSE:To draw out a marine working platform to the sea while rotating a barge without collision with dock ground facilities during launching by arranging the barge provided with a rotating device in a normal shipbuilding dock and constructing the marine working platform larger than the width of the dock on the barge. CONSTITUTION:A barge 5 provided with a rotating device 7 is arranged in a normal dock 1 which has been so far used for ship-building or the like, and a marine working platform 8 larger than the width of the dock 1 is constructed on the barge 5. When being drawn out to the sea after construction, since the marine working platform 8 is larger than the width of the dock 1, there is a fear of collision with dock ground facilities, such as cranes 2, 3, etc. Therefore, the barge 5, on which the marine working platform 8 is mounted, is drawn out to the sea while being rotated to avoid collision. By utilizing existing dock facilities, the marine working platform with a large capacity can be constructed.
