Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare an immunoadsorbent useful for the high sensitivity immunoassay, by bonding a polyamine to the surface of a solid polymer, and further bonding an antigen or antibody to the amine group.
CONSTITUTION: A polyamine (e.g. polyethyleneimine) is bonded to the surface of a polymer having a functional group (e.g. carboxyl group) capable of reacting amino group. The objective immunoadsorbent can be obtained by bonding an immunoreactive substance such as antigen, antibody, etc., to the amino group of the above treated polymer using a bonding agent such as maleic anhydride/ethylene copolymer, at -20W+80°C, pref. 0W60°C, for 1 min W 72 hrs, pref. 5 min. W 24 hrs.
