Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the antigen or the antibody from dissolving into the solution to secure the steady characteristics for the immunity sensor utilizing FET by fixing the antigen or the antibody in terms of the common combination and thus to strengthen the combination.
CONSTITUTION: A reaction is given as shown in Eq. I between the OH group on the surface of the electric insulator material covering over the semiconductor surface and the intermediate compound such as γ-amino-propyl triethoxy silane which is the silane coupling agent. After this, the carboxylic acid of the antigen or antibody R or the acid chloride derivative is condensed and then fixed by the amide combination. Otherwise the antigen or antibody R containing the carboxyl group or the OH group plus the OH group on the surface of the insulator material are dehydrated and condensed as shown in Eq. II. Thus, the ester combination or the ether combination is formed.
