Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate processing under optimum condition and prevent occurrence of abnormal arc by controlling pulse band and discharge processing current by signal indicating error (or difference) between standard voltage to be set in accordance with kinds of processing and voltage acroos the gap. CONSTITUTION:A standard voltage V0 is set in accordance with kinds of processing by a processing voltage setting step 41. By an error signal indicating an error between this standard voltage V0 and an voltage across the gap F between an electrode 11 and a work 12, a pulse control step 42 designed capable of being set in accordance with kinds of processing is operated, and pulse band of a pulse generating circuit 3 is controlled. Further, charging circuits CH1 and CH2 which are designed capable of being set in accordance with kinds of processing are operated by the error signal E and discharge current is controlled so that discharge processing is conducted under an optimum condition for a kind of processing.
