PURPOSE:To provide an electronic watch wherein a variable resistor is connected in series between a battery and an oscillation circuit to make the voltage variabale, whereby rough adjustment of the oscillation frequency is carried out by making the load capacity variable and fine adjustment thereof is carried out by making the driving voltage of the oscillation circuit variable to adjust the frequency. CONSTITUTION:A variable resistor 5 is connected in series between an oscillation circuit 1 and a battery 4 and the resistance value of the variable resistor 5 is operated whereby the voltage applied to the oscillation circuit 1 is varied. When the oscillation frequency is adjusted, the capacities of load volumes 2 and 3 are made variable to carry out rough adjustment and the resistance value of the variable resistor 5 is varied to adjust the same accurately to the desired frequency. By this procedure, the electronic watch is not affected by unstable elements such as floating capacities and the like but accurate and rapid adjustment become possible.
