CONSTITUTION:When the AC high voltage is applied to discharge needle 23a and 23b from high voltage power source 26, the corona discharge is generated between earth bars 24a and 24a' plus 24b and 24B' as well between auxiliary earth bars 25a and 25b respectively. As the discharge is given near recording master 21, the air near needle 23a and 23b is ionized, and the positive ion and the negative ion containing a large amount of electrons are concentrated on master 21. Thus, the residual charge on master 21 can be neutralized. Furthermore, the discharge distributions coincide between the positive ion and the electron owing to auxiliary earth bar 25a and 25b installed at the intermediate position of needle 23a and 23b.
