Abstract
PURPOSE: For reducing the heat loss caused through diffusion and mixation, to provide heat medium dischage and suction pipes in the heat accumulating tank made in a cylindrical wall shape.
CONSTITUTION: A heat accumulating tank is installel underground for example, whose construction is cylindrical having a larger depth/laterial diameter ratio than 2. A dischare pipe 4 having a discharge port 4' and a suction pipe 6 having a suction port 6' or a dischage pipe 5 having a discharge port 5' and a suction pipe 7 having a suction port 7' are provided in the upper or bottom section respectively of said tank. Said discharge pipes 4 and 5 are connected to a cool and warm water change- over valve 8. Through the operation of said valve 8, warm water is led to said suction pipe 4 or 5 in the operation or stoppage respectively of a boiler, and cool water to said discharge pipe 5 or 4 in the operation or stoppage respectively of a freezer. Said suction pipes 6 and 7 are connected to a three-way valve 9. The flow rate of heat medium is controlled by said valve 9.
