Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically insulate heat radiation at an opening by supplying insulator liquid to fluid passage.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid passage 2 is formed of a slit between two sheets of glass plates 8 arranged at the opening 1 of an outer wall 7, and communicates with a liquid reservoir 4 at the lower end thereof with a heat exchanger 5 contained within the reservoir 4. The heat exchanger 5 controls the heat medium flow via a solenoid valve 11. The valve 11 operates to supply heat medium to the heat exchanger 15 at sun shine time in summer so as to thereby fill insulator liquid 3 in the passage 2 to thermally shield the screen 10 via the liquid 3. When solar light rays are removed, the valve 11 operates to stop supplying heat medium to the heat exchanger 5. Accordingly, the screen 10 is thermally opened. In winter, the valve 11 operate oppositely to the above operation to automatically control the heat dissipation.
