Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the loading state of a motor from voltage waveform induced at exciting coil in high performance by connecting a pair of detecting circuits and impedance element directly to both ends of the coil without via any gate element. CONSTITUTION:Detecting resistors 40, 41 and gates 42, 43 are connected to both ends of an exciting coil 3 connected to the output terminals 18, 19 of P and N MOSFET gates 10 to 13 forming a driving inverter. A waveform detecting circuit composed of the detecting resistors 40, 41 and voltage comparators 44, 45 detects whether the voltage waveform generated at the coil reaches higher than predetermin ed voltage value or not. Thus, the induced voltage waveform can be used to efficiently judge the rotation or stop of the rotor. The braking of the rotor can be switched by the resistors 40, 41 to eliminate the substrate effect occurred by floating the substrate from the power supply and ground at potential.
