Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts, by shaping a mounting member like a bowl of trapezoidal cross section and directly coupling an engine of an automobile or the like to one side of the mounting member and the chassis of the automobile to another side of the member.
CONSTITUTION: The engine 15 is coupled by bolts 22 to one side 21 of a bracket 20 of trapezoidal cross section. One end of a vibration-proof rubber 25 is fixed on another side 23 of the bracket 20. The other end of the vibration-proof rubber is coupled to another bracket 24, which is coupled to the chassis 5 by bolts 26. Stoppers 27, 29 having rubbers 28, 30 are povided on the side 23 and the bracket 24 to prevent vibration larger than a prescribed level. Because the form of the bracket 20 is trapezoidal, its strength is high and a reinforcing plate as conventionally used is not needed. A water drain port is represented at 31.
