Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a damage on a turbocharger by connecting it with an engine by means of a relatively long exhaust pipe and elastically attaching it to the engine or a vehicle's frame.
CONSTITUTION: A turbocharger (b) is connected to an engine (a) by a relatively long exhaust pipe 1. The upper middle face of the turbocharger (b) is supported by an elastic member 3 made of rubber or the like to be mounted on the engine (a). An effective application of the own elasticity of the exhaust pipe 1 may reduce a vibration from the engine, thereby preventing a damage of the turbocharger. A heat expansion of the exhaust pipe 1 may be absorbed by the elastic element of suspending the turbocharger so that an overload is prevented from being damaged by the unbearable force.
