Abstract
PURPOSE: To protect freights from impact force, by mounting freight a constraint means to a rear body or a chassis frame.
CONSTITUTION: A fluid system shock absorber 13 installed between freights 7 loaded on a rear body 2 of a car and the rear body is formed by an inner pipe 14, which one end is blocked and which other end is opened, an outer pipe 15, which is externally fitted to the inner pipe 14 from the opening side in a sliding-possible shape while its other end is blocked, a dash-board 17, which is fastened to an inner circumference of either of both pipes 14, 15 and partitions chambers 22, 23 formed by both pipes, a rod 18, which is fixed to a block portion of the outer pipe 15 and mounts the dash-board 17 in a slinding-free shape and in a penetrating extending form, and an orifice plate 20 installed to the rod 18. When normalcy, the shock absorber 13 clamps the freights 7 onto the rear body 2; when impact force not less than a fixed value is applied to the car, the impact force is absorbed by means of the fluid system shock absorber 13.
