Abstract

PURPOSE: To apply residual pressure determined by a spring when a brake fluid is filled, by providing two one-way valves in the face of each other in a communication hole and applying the spring to the valves and evacuating air from a brake to leave no pressure.
CONSTITUTION: When air is evacuated from the assembled brake, air is introduced through a hole 15b of a check valve plug 15 to push up a second one-way valve 16. Tehn, the air passes throught a hole 13a of a valve retainer 13, pushes a first one- way valve 12 open and goes out through an opening 12a. The brake fluid introduced through a small hole 3b closes the first one-way valve 12 and moves it down together with the valve retainer 13. Then, the brake fluid flows from the hole 13a to the end of a brake system through an opening 16a of the second one-way valve 16. When a brake pedal is once depressed and returned, the brake fluid flows back in the same direction as the air evacuation. When the pressure of the fluid falls to be balanced to the force of the spring 14, the second one-way valve 16 is closed in contact with the plug 15 to leave set pressure in the brake system.
