Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a composition having high dielectric constant and capable of forming raw material useful as a film capacitor and a capactor resistor composite, by blending an insulating polymer with a highly conductive organic component at a proper ratio according to the purpose.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A highly conductive organic compound soluble in organic solvents, e.g. a charge-transfer complex (CT complex)-type low molecular compound such as low molecular tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) salt, low molecular tetrathiofulvalene salt, etc., or a CT complex-type polymeric compound such as polycationic TCNQ salt having quaternary nitrogen-cationic groups at the main or side chains, etc., is blended with (B) an insulating polymer preferably by the solution-blending method to give the objective polymer. The electrical conductance is increased when the amount of the conductive organic component in the blended polymer is 5W50 wt%; and a highly conductive [δ≥10-10 (ohm cm)-1] and highly dielectric (εr=50W100) polymer useful for condenser-resistor composite, is obtained.
