PURPOSE:To make it possible to change a receiver receiving a single-frequency signal into one receiving a multi-frequency signal by bearing specific relation between the IF of an AM band and that of a FM band. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an AM local oscillator is applied to one input terminal of phase comparator 2 via input terminal 1, and a signal of a frequency one N-th as high as an input frequency is applied from divided to the other input terminal of comparator 2, whose output is applied to voltage control oscillator 4 with the function of a FM local oscillator via LPF3. The output of this oscillator 4 is supplied to divider 5 to form a phase control loop, thereby making it possible to increase the oscillation frequency of oscillator 4 N times as high as the input frequency at terminal 1. Consequently, specific relation is born between the IF of the AM band and that of the FM band to make it possible to change a single-frequency receiver into multi-frequency one.
