Abstract

PURPOSE: To smoothly shift a feed water switch mechanism, by making the center of the feed water switch mechanism coincident with the center of operation of an operating part of the mechanism and placing an inlet section for a passage switch just over the mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: Water is supplied from a water hose 3 to the inlet port 12 of the feed water switch mechanism 6 through a solenoid valve 5 provided inside a panel 1. The center of the mechanism 6 is made coinsident with the center of operation of a switch knob 7 of the mechanism so that the mechanism is smoothly shifted. The right and left swing ranges of a distribution nozzle 14 of the feed water switch mechanism 6 are equalized to each other so that the swing resistances are balanced to each other and the right and left operating forces of the switch knob 7 are equalized to each other. To visually inform the user that the water is distributed right and left, a joint for attaching the water hose 3 is provided over the switch knob 7. The water hose 3 is removably coupled to the inlet part of the solenoid valve 5.
