Abstract
PURPOSE: To cast aluminum in a rotor manufactured by combining a laminated spacer for forming a duct with a laminated core, thereby eliminating necessity of melting and removing the laminated spacer and improving the workability.
CONSTITUTION: A laminated core 1 is formed by laminating a punched iron plates 7 each having a plurality of slots 6 at its peripheral edge and contacting at its end surface side end plates 2 each being prepared by forming iron plates having a thickness slightly larger than that of the punched iron plate into a shape identical with that of the punched iron plate 7. A plurality of said punched plates 7 are arranged in the axial direction, and further a laminated spacer 5 for forming a duct having an outer configuration substantially identical with the laminated core 1 is inserted in the layers of the laminated core 1, the slots 6 of the laminated core 1 and the slot 9 of the laminated spacer 5 for forming the duct being caused to position coincide, and pressure being applied thereto in the axial direction to integrally clamp and assemble the same. A molten metal is cast into the slot 6 of the laminated core 1 and the slot 9 of the laminated spacer 5 thereby to form a conductor bar 3. A ventilating hole 11 is provided at a stage of manufacturing the laminated spacer 5 for forming the duct.
