Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title equipment by which the vol. of water can be controlled automatically in accordance with a change in the vol. of molten slag in operation by allowing a slurry of granulated slag in a granulated slag vessel to directly flow in a precipitation vessel without storing it in an overflow vessel and constituting warm water and cold water vessels in a communicating state to reduce the capacity of the water vessels as well as to enhance slurry and water transport efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A slurry of granulated slag regulated to a uniform granular size is dropped in granulated slag vessel 10 through blowing channel 9 and allowed to directly flow in precipitation vessel 12, from one end, provided with two granulated slag scrapers 11. On the other hand, a conc. slurry is supplied to dehydration vessel 13 from the lower part of vessel 12. Clarified water in vessel 12 is allowed to flow in warm water vessel 14b constituting water storage vessel 14 together with cold water vessel 14a. The lower parts of vessels 14a, 14b are in a communicating state. Cooling water obtd. by feeding the warm water in vessel 14b to cooling tower 15 is stored in vessel 14a and supplied to a blowing device as pressurized water from the lower part.
