Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare perfectly odorless air which becomes a reference and make on- line preparation of dilute inspecting gas of a constant density by subsequently providing an active carbon packed layer, flow meter, specific inspecting gas feed means, etc. in the line behind air feed pump.
CONSTITUTION: Required volume of air is fed by an air feed pump 1 provided with a bypass line 9 to an active carbon packed layer which is provided with active carbon fly preventing means 3 at its both ends. The odorless air out from the layer 2 is regulated to a specified flow rate in a flowmeter 4 by a regulating valve 10 and is sampled in a receiver 8 via inspecting gas feed means 5. During this sampling, the inspecting gas is fed at a specified volume with a feeder or the like through the elastic material sealing one end of the T-pipe of the means 5 and is fed into the receiver 8 while being mixed and diluted with the odorless air. In addition, a bypass line 12 provided with a heater 11 is provided in the line behind the layer 2, downstream of which a used vessel 8' is mounted. The receiver 8' is cleaned and reclaimed by the odorless air having been warmed thereby.
