Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply power without receiving reactive power by delaying the voltage phase of the first system with respect to the voltage phase of first self-exciting inverters and retarding the voltage phase of the second system with respect to the voltage phase of second self-exciting inverters.
CONSTITUTION: Two self-exciting inverters 6 and 7 are connected in parallel on the DC side, and they are connected to respective systems through AC inductors 9 and 10. A phase angle calculating circuit 15 calculates the phase angle in such a manner as to make the reactive power from the system 1 as low as possible, and its output is coupled to firing circuits GX1 to GZ1 in the inverter 6 of the system 1 and is also coupled to a phase angle calculating circuit 18 so as to compare with the voltage phase angle of the system 2 for controlling the thyristor firing angle of the inverter 7 of the system 2 in such a manner as to reduce the reactive power of the system 2. Further, supply of power from one system to the other is effected by delaying the voltage phase of the inverters in one system with respect to the voltage phase of the system voltage phase and advancing the voltage phase of the inverters of the other system with respect to the system voltage phase.
