Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the destruction of insulating layer by thermal stress as well as make better the inpregnation of varnish by using a composite material whose basic constitutional components are a film material and a porous material as slot liner.
CONSTITUTION: The slot liner 13 for armature winding is placed between the outside circumference of the armature wire ring 3 and the inner wall 6 of slot. The slot liner 13 consists primarily of the tetrafluoroethylene film 14 as a film material and the porous material of glass cloth sheet, which serve as the basic constitutional components. Then, the releasing agent 18 of silicon oil is coated over the surface of the film material side of the composite materail 17 formed by doubling the both constitutional compoentns 14 and 15 with the aid of the epoxy resin adhesive 16. The use of the slot liner with such a constitution makes better the impregnation of varnish and also can prevent the destruction of insulating layer due to thermal stress.
