Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable time reading to be readily made in dark places by burying illuminating lamps within the indicating hands made of transparent synthetic resins and using the indicating hands as light emitting sources. CONSTITUTION:Conductive plates 3, 4 which connect to a power source V by making slide contact respectively to pair of contact springs 5, 6 are provided to the hour hand wheel 2 made of insulation type synthetic resins integral with an hour hand stem 1 and a pair of contact plates 9, 10 provided to the outside peripheral surface of the hour hand stem 1 are respectively connected to the conductive plates 3, 4. The hour hand 12 is made of transparent synthetic resin and an illuminating lamp 13 such as light emitting diode or miniature bulb is buried and is installed to the hour hand stem 1. Since the lead parts 14, 15 of the illuminating lamp 13 are respectively contact-fixed to the contact plates 9, 10, the entire lighting of the illuminating lamp 13 may be used for illuminating the hour hand 12. The minute hand 28 and second hand are also made in the similar constitution, thus all the three hands may be illuminated by supplying a power source.
