Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively utilize steam again, by using waste heat to raise the temperature of boiler water or liquid in a boiler having an absorbing part in an absorbing liquid cycle to supply steam, hot water or heat medium liquid again to a consuming unit. CONSTITUTION:Waste hot water, which has a temperature of about 73 deg.C and would be cooled and discharged from such as a chemical plant, is supplied from a duct 4 into the tube of an evaporator 2 so that water flowing down on the outside surface of the tube is evaporated. Thus, steam of about 71 deg.C is filled in an enclosed vessel. As a result, an aqueous solution of lithium bromide, which is supplied through a duct 5 and sprinkled by a sprinkler 3a and has a concentration of 65% and a temperature of 101 deg.C, is heated to a temperature of about 130 deg.C at the top of the boiler 3 to change water in the boiler tube into steam of about 120 deg.C. The steam is supplied to the consuming unit through a dehydrator 26 installed at a halfway part of a duct 6. Thus, the heat of the waste hot water is effectively utilized.
