Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a method of detecting trouble of elevator door, according to which current variation caused when operating the door under normal conditions is beforehand stored into memory each time the door is operated, and current variation caused actually at the time of operating door is compared successively with the value stored in memory, whereby it is judge that some trouble is caused with the elevator door if a difference higher than a predetermined value is caused between them.
CONSTITUTION: When door opening or closing instruction is given from signal controlling means 5 to micro computor 65, computor 65 is set into operation. Here, the current value is measured each time interruption of timer is caused and it is compared with the current value of the same timing stored beforehand in memory. Then, it is detected by micro computor 65 whether the difference between them is within a predetermined range or not, and if not, it is judged that some trouble is caused with elevator door actually. Here, it is possible to give two steps for the difference; one requiring inversion and the other requiring inspection. In this case, if inverting instruction is given, contact is reversed by the signal afforded from micro computor 65 to signal controlling means 5. On the other hand, if instruction requiring inspection is given, only alarm is given to inspector.
