Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect whether the clock signal from a control track is normal or not by providing a window clock track aside from the control clock track to a magnetic disc apparatus, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A window clock track is further provided to a magnetic disc apparatus, etc. in which the control track which becomes a reference for digital signals, etc. has beforehand been written and this is inputted from therminal 6 to a flip-flop circuit 8 and at the same time the control clock and the signal indicating disc operating condition are inputted from terminals 5, 7 so that whether the control clock signal exists within the judgement time determined by the judging clock or not is judged. As a result, the time zone for detecting whether the clock signal from the control track is normal or not may be narrowed and therefore accuracy may be improved without being affected by uneven rotations.
