Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable always distinct images to be obtained and readily made at the recording and make handling simple by providing a heat sensitive layer containing heat sensitive coloring materials and aquo complex on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The heat sensitive layer forming solution comprising dissolving or diffusing heat sensitive coloring materials and aquo complex such as MgSO4 5H2O together with a binder resin in a suitable solvent is coated on a substrate such as paper or the conductive layer further formed thereon, whereby the heat sensitive layer is formed. Forming the heat sensitive layer by dividing the heat sensitive coloring materials and the aquo complex in individual layers will also give equally good results. This aquo complex lowers the volume resistance of the heat sensitive layer and the ligand dissociation through current supplying of the aquo complex creates the atmosphere effective for coloring of the heat sensitive coloring materials.
