Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording body excellent both in the resolution and graduated recording with limited missed dots even during the high speed recording by preventing the attachment of a foreign matter to the surface of a recording body with an intrinsic surface resistance value of a heat-sensitive layer set below a specified value. CONSTITUTION:Preferably, an electric resistance adjusting agent (e.g. zinc oxide, magnesium chloride, quaternary ammonium salt type high polymer electrolyte and glycerine) is added to a heat-sensitive layer mainly composed of a leuco compound and an organic acid such as bisphenol A developing color in reaction therewith in such a manner that the intrinsic surface resistance value is 5X10<3>OMEGA or less in a heat-sensitive layer when finished (under the condition of 20 deg.C and 20% in RH). The coating liquid thus obtained is applied on a supporting body such as wood free paper at a rate of 8g/m<2> and then mixed together to obtain a desired heat-sensitive recording body.
