Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a stabilized lithographing without generation of stains over printed materials, by containing pigments, resins and polyvalent metalic salt to an original plate image receiving layer and using an aqueous solution containing alignate as an aqueous solution containing high-molecular compound to be applied on it. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving layer of a printing original plate consists essentially of Al oxide, silicon oxide, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, polyvinyl acetate like O/W type emulsion resin etc. and resins added with crosslinking agents such as melamine resins etc. to those and polyvalent metalic salt. Polyvalent metalic salt is a salt of >= bivalent metal and its containing amount is preferably 0.05-5wt%. A desensitizing treatment is performed with water solution containing 0.1-3% sodium alginate etc. and it is adhered only to an unimaged part. Accordingly, a component in the water solution is adhered strongly to the unimaged part after drying and forms a hydrophilic coating film, and then generation of stains over printed materials is eliminated in a lithographing.
