Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent crushing of the turns of a coil by providing a coil stripper with a coil division screw such that the individual turns of the coil will not touch one another and thus providing uniform tension to the coil turns when inserting the coil.
CONSTITUTION: A coil 5 is held in a gap 4 of a coil insertion blade 3, and then a coil division screw 8 is mounted in a coil stripper 2 by screwing it from the open end of the oil insertion blade 3 so that the individual turns of the coil 5 are received in the groove between adjacent hills 9 of the coil division screw 8. Thereafter, the coil 5 is inserted into a core slot 7 by raising the coil stripper 2 together with the coil division screw 8. In this way, the tension when inserting the coil 5 is uniformly applied to the individual turns of the coil to prevent crushing thereof. In addition, the invention is applicable to coils of various wire diameters by merely varying the pitch of coil hills 9.
