Abstract
PURPOSE:To smoothen the impact torque rise of an internal combustion engine by introducing positive pressure higher than atmospheric pressure only at a time preset immediately after accelerating the engine instead of an air intake negative pressure of the engine to abruptly delay the ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:Acceleration detecting means 8 for detecting the accelerating state of an engine 1 is connected to a computer 7 connected to an electromagetic three- way valve 5, and consists of a potentiometer interlocked with a throttle valve 22 for detecting the rotary motion of the valve 22. When the means 8 detects the abrupt accelerating time of the engine 1, it energizes the valve 5 during predetermined period (0.2 to 0.5 second) immediately after the acceleration to thereby communicate a positive pressure pipe 61 with an outlet side negative pressure pipe 44B. As a result, the exhausted positive pressure from an air pump 6 is instantaneously introduced into the negative pressure chamber 43 of a vacuum advancer 4 to reduce the negative pressure in the chamber 43 at a speed equal to the reduction of the air intake negative pressure at accelerating time.
