Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect red hot objects in the form of monochromatic brightness and darkness, monitor the same in a display device and measure the same safely, easily and surely by subjecting the detection signal of reflected light from the red hot part by the radiated light of difference luminances to subtraction processing. CONSTITUTION:Red hot part 1 is radiated by light of different luminances from a light source in one scanning period through a detector 3, delay device or recorder 4, modulator 9 controlled by a scanner 10. The reflected light of the radiation light by the red hot part 1 and the light emitted by the red hot part 1 are detected with the detector 3 and the detection output according to the radiation of different luminaces in each scanning is arithmetically processed in a comparator 5. Hence, the meansurement of the red hot object may be performed without the effect of the light emitted by the red hot part 1 itself and withot increasing the radiation energy of the light source.
