Abstract
PURPOSE: To dispense with a microbe layer separator and rationally dispose of waste water. by using a sintered material made from the sludge of waste water as a small carrier of a fluidized bed and sintering a small carrier taken out of a waste water passage to supplement the small carrier.
CONSTITUTION: The small carrier (a) is made from the sintered sludge.An aerobic microbe for disposing of the waste water is coated on the small carrier. The waste water is supplied to the microbe so that a fluidized bed is formed. The disposal efficiency falls if the thickness of the microbe layer on the carrier increases. The increase in the thickness is detected by a detector 7 such as a photoelectric relay and attached to a disposal vessel 1 to start a pump P to separate taken-out water into clean water and a small carrier (a') by an apparatus 5. The small carrier (a') is passed through a concentration vessel 11 if necessary and is sintered by a sintering unit 12. The sintered carrier is pulverized to grains of 0.2 to 3 mm in diameter by a unit 14. A microbe is coated on the grains by a unit 8.
