Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a good color copy image by selectively actuating or not actuating a magnetic brush acting on a photoreceptor and by conducting development using developers corresponding to the color mode of an original.
CONSTITUTION: Shaft 40 is inserted slidably in the shaft direction in the inside of boss 31 of magnet holder 30 holding a proper number of magnets 33, and on this shaft in holder 30 magnet holding channel plates 41 are fixed having guide hole 42 extending in the radial and inclined direction. Movable magnet 34 for forming a magnetic brush is arranged between plates 41 and has pin 35 guided with hole 42, and this permits magnet 34 to slide up and down in the radial direction in holder 30.
