Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the vibration due to the resonance of a shaft system with the torque ripple through simple and cheap construction, by coupling a driving shaft to a high-speed rotary shaft of a speed reduction mechanism through a single straight shaft and restricting the bending vibration of the straight shaft by a vibration restrictor. CONSTITUTION:The wind-up machine 1 has a pulley 2. An elevator gondola 4 and a counterweight 5 are hung from the pulley 2 through a wire rope 3. The wind-up machine 1 has an electric motor 7. The driving shaft 8 fixed to the rotor 10 of the motor 7 is coupled to a worm shaft 6 through a brake drum 9 along a straight line. A worm 22 provided on the worn shaft 6 is engaged with a worm wheel 23, thereby forming the speed reduction mechanism. The driving shaft 8 is supported to the casing 20 of the motor 7 through the vibration restrictor 14 which restricts the bending vibration between the rotor 10 and the brake drum 9. The vibration restrictor 14 comprises a bearing 15 fitted on the driving shaft 8 and a damper 16 interposed between the outer race 15a of the bearing 15 and a support 17, 18.
