CONSTITUTION:When the differential pressure before and behind of the orifice in the exhaust gas reflux path 6 is large and suction air flow is constant, that is the exhaust gas reflux ratio is large, a rod 28 connected to the diaphragm device 11 of vacuum type advance mechanism 9 is pulled in accordance with the difference pressure before and behind the orifice 8, the breaker plate 17 is rotated more towards advance angle side, in this time, since the difference pressure before and behind the orifice 8 is controlled in accordance with degree of venturi negative pressure because the difference control valve 22 opens in accordance with the venturi negative pressure, the ignition advance angle is compensated in accordance with exhaust gas reflux ratio. When exhaust gas reflux ratio is decreased, the ignition timing is returned back to usual advance angle position which is controlled by the vacuum type advance angle mechanism 9 in accordance with exhaust gas reflux ratio. When the exhaust gas reflux is cut off, the ignition timing is controlled with the vacuum advance angle mechanism 9 and centrifugal advance mechanism.
