Abstract

PURPOSE: To smoothen the charging and discharging of treated bodies in a dehydration vessel by fitting a cutter near the charge port of a dehydration vessel and cutting up the treated bodies before charging them into the vessel.
CONSTITUTION: Above a treated bodie charge port 17A of a dehydration vessel 17, there is fitted a cutter 25 fixed to a motor shaft 11. Treated bodies containing water, such as garbage, are charged from a treated body feed pipe 5 into the first dehydration vessel 17. Large dirt is cut up by the cutter 25 before charged. Motor 3 is driven for centrifugal dehydration, and fine dirt passes through the drain holes 19 of the vessel into a second dehydration vessel 18, where they are dehydrated. After dehydration, a hook metal 9 is removed and a lever 7 is pressed down to open a cover 6 and an inner cover 21, and the dirt in the vessels 17 and 18 falls and is discharged.
