Abstract

PURPOSE: To substantially eliminate the quantity of waste matters to the outside of a system, by bringing waste water from a stack gas desulfurizing apparatus into cotact with stack gas at 130W190°C, and after that, separating solid matter pulverized by evaporation from the stack gas together with dust, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water W discharged from a wet stack gas desulfurizing apparatus 9 is directly sprayed by a spraying means 22 from the top part of a contactor 4, is brought into contact with stack gas G at a high temperature, and only gas (g) is discharged from a conduit 7. Impurities in the waste water, which have been solidified by the direct contactor 4 are dropped to its lower part and are discharged to the outside of a system from a rotary valve 5 functioning as a solid body rotating and discharging means. The solidified impurities 6 are carried to a suitable place. An advantage of said method is the fact that since high temperature stack gas G at 130W190°Cis brought into contact with a small quantity of waste water W, dust, etc. in the stack gas G are also discharged together with the impurities 6 in a dry state.
