Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent adhesion, local deformation and uneven compression of material with highly pure alumina powder interposed between the contact surfaces of Mo green compact in sintering thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Mo greem compacts 1 are piled on a Mo boat, for example, in four columns by four stages. It is sintered in a continuous furnace 4 with highly pure almina powder 3 interposed between contact surfaces of the compacts. The alumina powder shall employ A12O3 in the quality of more than 99.93%, preferably more than 99.96%. The grain size is less than 325 mesh preferably.
