Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent local deformation and uneven compression through sintering of Mo green compact with a Mo-sintered plate piece arranged between the contact planes thereof in such a manner as to be smaller than the respective contact planes in metallurgy of Mo powder.
CONSTITUTION: For example, green compacts 1 are piled on a Mo boat 2 in four columns by four stages. Mo sintered plate pieces 3 are interposed between the contact surface thereof as a spacer. Under such a condition, the material is inserted into a continuous furnace for sintering. This yields excellent sintered products without local deformation and uneven compression.
