Abstract

PURPOSE: To make even a thin film maintain vibration insulation in a wide temperature range, by coating a metallic base with specific two kinds of coating compound.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic base is coated with a coating compound obtained by blending A) 100 parts by wt. of a composition consisting of a) an oligomer having one or more hydroxyl or epoxy groups in a molecule, capable of reacting with isocyanate groups at a normal temperature, and b) a polyisocyanate, with B) 10W100 parts by wt. of a liquid plasticizer at a normal temperature and/or C) 20W80 parts by wt. of a film-forming thermoplastic resin at a normal temperature to form the first corrosion-resistant film having a glass transion temperature of -50W10°C, modulus of elasticity of 109W1010 dyn/cm at -20W50°C, and a dissipation factor not less than 0.4. A coating compound prepared by blending a radically polymerizable unsaturated resin at the normal temperature with 10W 500 wt.% of a glass flake and an extender pigment or a plastic concrete is applied to the first film to give the second layer film having modulus of elasticity not less than 5.0×1010 dyn/cm at -50W150°C.
