Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify data transmission procedures by providing a means which detects that the prescribed number of errors has been recieved continuously. CONSTITUTION:Parallel data 2 of operation part A where data is inputted by manual operations, etc., is converted to series data in transmitter-receiver (UART) 1 and is transmitted to controller B and is subjected to edition and check and is returned to operation part A again. Series data returned from UART 5 of controler B is detected for error; and in case of error, an error signal is transmitted to shift register 9 and is held. When n-number errors are detected continuously, AND circuit 10 is opened to set error register 11. As a result, AND circuit 12 is closed to inhibit the transmission of strobe signal ST, thereby making input signals invalid.
