Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.可燃性燃料ガスの発熱量及び/又はウォッベ指標を測定する装置であって、 前記ガスを通る経路をたどるように超音波信号を発し、前記経路をたどった 後に前記信号を受信する超音波発信・受信手段と、 発信と受信の間の前記信号の減衰量を測定する手段と、 発熱量またはウォッベ指標及び/又はを前記測定した減衰量から導き出す手 段とを含む装置。 2.前記ガス内における超音波信号の速度特性値を測定するシステムを備え、 また、 前記発熱量及び/又はウォッベ指標を導き出す手段が、前記発熱量及び/又 はウォッベ指標を導き出す際に速度の測定値を使用するように構成されている、 請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 3.ガスの熱伝導率の特性値およびガスの比熱の特性値のうち少なくとも1つの 値を測定する検知手段を有し、また、 前記発熱量及び/又はウォッベ指標を導き出す手段が、前記発熱量及び/又 はウォッベ指標を導き出す際に熱伝導率の特性値および比熱の特性値のうちの少 なくとも1つを使用するように構成されている、請求の範囲第2項に記載の装置 。 4.前記減衰量の測定値及び/又は前記特性値のうちの少なくとも1つの測定値 が、減衰量および特定の発熱量及び/又はウォッベ指標に各々相関する特性から なる複数の予め導かれた値と比較され、この比較から、発熱量及び/又はウォッ ベ指標が推定される、請求の範囲第3項に記載の装置。 5.前記検知手段が、ほとんどガスの移動が無いガス静止領域でガスに晒されて いるセンサを有する、請求の範囲第3項又は第4項に記載の装置。 6.ガスの温度値を観測する温度検知手段が設けられ、該温度値が、減衰量の測 定値と速度特性値との少なくとも1つの値を訂正するのに用いられる、請求の範 囲第1項又は第2項に記載の装置。 7.温度検知手段および圧力検知手段が、ガスの温度値および圧力値を観測す るように配置され、また、 前記温度および圧力の値が、減衰量の測定値および前記特性値のうちの少な くとも1つの特定値のうちの少なくとも1つの測定値を標準の温度および圧力に 訂正するのに用いられる、請求の範囲第3項又は第4項に記載の装置。 8.異なる周波数で発せられる超音波信号の減衰量を測定する、請求の範囲第1 〜7項のいずれか一項に記載の装置。 9.測定されるべき減衰量について発せられた超音波信号が、測定されるべき信 号の速度特性の値について発せられた超音波信号とは別の周波数を有する、請求 の範囲第2〜5項、第7項のいずれか一項又は請求の範囲第2項に従属する請求 の範囲第6項に記載の装置。 10.請求の範囲第1〜9項のいずれか一項に記載の装置からなるガス・メータで あって、 前記超音波発信・受信手段が第1の超音波発信・受信手段であり、また、 前記メータが、該メータを通過するガスの体積量を導き出す、該メータを通 過するガスの体積流量を導き出す手段で使用するためにガス内の超音波信号の速 度を測定する際に使用される第2の超音波発信・受信手段を更に有するガス・メ ータ。 11.請求の範囲第2〜5項のいずれか一項、請求の範囲第2項に従属する請求の 範囲第6項又は第8項、請求の範囲第7項又は請求の範囲第9項に記載のガス・ メータであって、 前記超音波発信・受信手段が第1超音波発信・受信手段であり、この第1超 音波発信・受信手段が、発熱量及び/又は前記ウォッベ指標を導き出す際に使用 するための、前記ガス内の超音波信号の速度の特性値の測定において使用するよ うに配置してあり、また、 前記メータが、該メータを通るガスの体積量を導き出す、該メータを通るガ スの体積流量を導き出す手段によって使用するために、ガス内の超音波信号の速 度を測定する際に使用するように配置された第2の超音波発信・受信手段を更に 有するガス・メータ。 12.請求の範囲第1〜9項のいずれか一項に記載の装置からなるガス・メータ であって、 前記超音波発信・受信手段が、前記メータを通過するガスの体積量を導き出 す、前記メータを通るガスの体積流量を導き出す手段で使用するためにガス内の 超音波信号の速度を測定する際に使用できるように配置されているガス・メータ 。 13.請求の範囲第2〜5項のいずれか一項、請求の範囲第2項に従属する請求の 範囲第6項又は第8項、請求の範囲第7項又は請求の範囲第9項に記載のガス・ メータであって、 前記超音波発信・受信手段が、発熱量またはウォッベ指標あるいはこれら両 方を導き出す際に使用するために、前記ガス内の超音波信号の速度の特性値を測 定する際に使用できるように配置されており、そして、前記超音波発信・受信手 段が、前記メータを通過するガスの体積量を導き出す、前記メータを通るガスの 体積流量を導く手段によって使用するためにガス内の超音波信号の速度を測定す る際に使用できるように配置されているガス・メータ。 14.請求の範囲第10〜13項のいずれか一項に記載のメータであって、可燃性 燃料ガスの供給によって与えられるエネルギの供給量を測定するメータであり、 供給されたガスの前記体積量および発熱量及び/又はウォッベ指標から供給 されるエネルギを導き出す手段を有するメータ。 15.請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置からなり、可燃性ガスの供給によって与えら れるエネルギの供給量を測定するメータであって、 供給されるガスの体積量を測定する手段と、 前記体積量ならびに前記発熱量及び/又はウォッベ指標を使用して供給され たエネルギ量の値を導き出す手段とを更に有するメータ。 16.実質的に添付図面を参照しながら先に説明したエネルギ・メータ。
