Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)溶融ポリエステルを、ポリマー圧縮ゾーンを有するベント型連続式ス クリューコンベヤーに移送する工程、 b)コンベヤーのスクリューを回転させて、15分間より短い時間及び300℃よ り低い温度で、溶融ポリマーを圧縮し、押出機を通して輸送する工程、 c)工程b)と同時に、パージ剤を押出機の中へ及び押出機から外へ流すこと によって溶融ポリエステルから揮発性不純物を除去しかつアセトアルデヒドの認 識できる蓄積を避ける工程、並びに d)脱蔵した溶融ポリマーを成形装置へ輸送し、そこで製造物品を成形する工 程 を含んでなる、ポリエステルからアセトアルデヒドを除去する方法。 2.工程a)からのポリエステルが0.50〜0.85のI.V.を有する請求の範囲第1 項に記載の方法。 3.工程b)のコンベヤーが押出機である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4.ポリエステルが、15ppmより少ない最終残留アセトアルデヒド含量を有す る請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 5.ジカルボン酸の少なくとも80モル%がテレフタル酸である請求の範囲第1 項に記載の方法。 6.グリコールの少なくとも80モル%がエチレングリコールである請求の範囲 第1項に記載の方法。 7.グリコールが、エチレングリコールとシクロヘキサンジメタノールとの混 合物である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 8.酸がテレフタル酸であり、グリコールがエチレングリコール 60〜99モル%とシクロヘキサンジメタノール40〜1モル%との混合物である請求 の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 9.請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法によって製造された、アセトアルデヒド含 量の低い成形、押出又は成型ポリマー物品。 10.脱蔵ゾーン内のポリマーの温度を、ポリエステルの融点よりも5〜50℃高 く保持する請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 11.ポリマーを5〜600秒間脱蔵する請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 12.脱蔵後、0.1〜15分間ポリマーを溶融状態とする請求の範囲第1項に記載 の方法。 13.得られるポリマーのインヘレント粘度が0.55〜0.95である請求の範囲第1 項に記載の方法。
