Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.血栓耐性表面を有する生体材料であって、該表面がキトサンおよび1種以 上の生物活性物質のコーティング層よりなる該生体材料。 2.1の該生物活性物質がポリビニルアルコールである請求項1記載の生体材 料。 3.請求項1記載の生体材料よりなる医療デバイス。 4.該デバイスが補綴血管移植体である請求項3記載の医療デバイス。 5.該移植体が断面が実質的に平板状である請求項4記載の移植体。 6.約4mm未満の内径を有する請求項5記載の移植体。 7.キトサンおよび1種以上の生物活性物質よりなるコーティングを該生体材 料に適用することを特徴とする生体材料の表面処理方法。 8.該生物活性材料が界面活性剤、抗血栓剤、抗生物質および抗体よりなる群 から選択される請求項7記載の表面処理方法。 9.該生体材料がポリテトラフルオロエチレン類、ポリアミド類、ポリエステ ル類、ポリウレタン類、ポリチロキシン類、ポリオレフィン類、ダクロン、シリ コーンゴム、ポリ塩化ビニル、共重合体、および金属よりなる群から選択される 請求項7記載の表面処理方法。 10.該コーティングを硬化させる請求項7記載の表面処理方法。 11.該コーティングを架橋によって硬化させる請求項10記載の表面処理方 法。 12.該生体材料がダクロンまたは発泡ポリテトラフルオロエチレンである請 求項11記載の表面処理方法。 13.該生物活性材料がポリビニルアルコールである請求項12記載の表面処 理方法。 14.ポリビニルアルコールに対するキトサンの割合が約4:1ないし約1: 1の範囲にある請求項13記載の表面処理方法。 15.該適用のプロセスが、 A)キトサンの滅菌水性溶液よりなるコーティング溶液を調製し; B)生体材料の表面に該コーティング溶液をコートし;次いで、 C)吸収された溶液を硬化させる; 工程よりなる請求項7記載の表面処理方法。 16.該コーティング溶液が、さらに、親水性ポリマー、安定化剤、緩衝液、 触媒、および架橋剤のごとき添加剤を含む請求項15記載の表面処理方法。 17.該生体材料の表面が、ポンピングまたは浸漬によってコーティング溶液 でコートされる請求項16記載の表面処理方法。 18.該吸収された溶液が、水性溶液中の架橋剤を用い、乾燥または化学的架 橋いずれかによって硬化される請求項17記載の表面処理方法。 19.該生体材料が、最初のコーティング形成の間の膜内に捕獲できるか、あ るいはキトサン上の活性化部位においてその表面に結合され固定化できる請求項 18記載の表面処理方法。 20.キトサン膜上の該活性化部位が、グルタルアルデヒドによって活性化さ れる請求項19記載の表面処理方法。
