Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 光源からの光を光学系を通して出力光ファイバ部材へ結合させるために、 該光源と該光学系とがハウジング内部に取り付けられると共に、適切な作動のた めに該光源が該光学系に正確に位置合わせされて配置されている装置において、 摺動自在に前記ハウジングへ挿入可能にかつ前記ハウジングから取り外し可能 に着脱自在アセンブリへ前記光源を取り付け、前記光源と該アセンブリとが前記 ハウジング内部に配置される際に、該アセンブリが前記光源の前記光学系への正 確な位置合わせを維持できるような部材を含むようになっている改良物。 2. 正確な位置合わせを維持するための前記部材は、第一平面に配列された三 個の装着パッドと、該第一平面に垂直な第二平面に配列された二個の装着パッド と、そして該第一及び第二平面の両方に垂直な平面に配列された一個の装着パッ ドとを含み、該装着パッドが前記光源と一定の関係にある請求項1の改良物。 3. 前記装着アセンブリは、立方の直方体状基部を含み、前記装着パッドは、 該基部の相互に直角な側壁に取り付けられている請求項2の改良物。 4. さらに、前記装着パッドを前記ハウジング内部に形成された溝の内部側壁 に対して偏倚する手段を含む請求項2の改良物。 5. 光源からの光を出力光ファイバ部材へ結合させるため、光学系を包含する ハウジング内部に該光源を取り付けるための装着アセンブリにおいて、 基部と、 前記基部と一定の関係を保って光源を受入かつ保持する手段と、 前記基部の第一側壁に取り付けられた三個の装着パッドと、 前記第一側壁に直角な、前記基部の第二側壁に取り付けられた二個の装着パッ ドと、そして、 前記第一及び第二側壁の両方に相互に直角な、前記基部の第三側壁に取り付け られた一個の装着パッドと から成る装着アセンブリ。 6. 前記装着パッドは、前記基部と一体式に形成される請求項5の装着アセン ブリ。 7. ハウジングと、 前記ハウジング内部に取り付けられた光学系と、 前記ハウジング内部に光ファイバ部材の入口口径を保持する手段と、 光源と、そして、 前記光源からの光を前記光学系を通し前記光ファイバ部材の前記入口口径へ結 合させるため、前記光学系に位置合わせするように、前記ハウジング内部の前記 光源を着脱自在に配置する手段と から成る光を光ファイバ部材へ結合させる光学結合システムにおいて、 前記ハウジング内部に前記光源を着脱自在に取り付ける前記手段が、 前記光源を保持する基部と、 前記基部の第一側壁に取り付けられた三個の装着パッドと、 前記基部の第二側壁に取り付けられた一対の装着パッドと、そして、 前記第一及び第二側壁と互いに相互に直角な、前記基部の第三側壁に取り付け られた一個の装着パッドと を含む光学結合システム。 8. 前記ハウジングは前記基部を受け入れる溝を含み、該溝は互いに相互に直 角な三つの内部壁を有し、そして前記システムが、さらに、 前記ハウジングの前記溝の前記内部壁に対して前記装着パッドを偏倚する手段 を含む請求項7のシステム。 9. 前記光源は、アーク灯である請求項7のシステム。 10. さらに、光を医療用照明装置へ結合するための光ファイバ受入口径へ結 合された光ファイバ部材を含む請求項7のシステム。
