- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ポリマーで事前含浸されたファイバー製品(プレプレグ)の製造のための 方法であって、 i) a)ファイバーに、少なくとも一種のポリマーと前記ポリマーの重合反応を開 始せしめる能力をもつ任意的な剤とを含んで成る粉末をコーティングする; b)段階a)で得られた組成物に、前記ポリマーを溶解する能力はもつが、前 記ポリマーの重合反応を開始せしめる能力は欠く溶媒を加える、そして c)前記溶媒を蒸発させる;又は ii) a)少なくとも一種のポリマーと、このポリマーの重合反応を開始せしめる能 力をもつ任意的な剤とを含んで成る粉末を、前記ポリマーを溶解する能力はもつ が、前記ポリマーの重合反応を開始せしめる能力は欠く溶媒の中に溶解する;そ して b)ファイバーを上記の段階で得られた溶液と接触させる;そして c)前記溶媒を蒸発させる; ことのいづれかを含んで成る方法。 2.段階i)a)で得られた組成物を、前記溶媒をそれに添加する前にモルド に加える、請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記ファイバーに対する前記ポリマーの結合を促進するように前記ファイ バーの表面を処理し、その後この表面処理ファイバーに前記ポリマー粉末をコー ティングすることを含んで成る請求項1又は2記載の方法。 4.前記ファイバーがガラスファイバーである、請求項1,2又は3記載の方 法。 5.前記ポリマーがポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、エチレングリコール ジメタクリレート(EGDMA)、2,2−ビス〔4−(2−ヒドロキシ−3−メタ クロイルオキシ)フェニル〕−プロパン(BIS GMA)又はヒドロキシエチレンメ タクリレート(HEMA)であり、そして前記ガラスファイバーに対する前記ポリマ ーの結合を促進せしめる剤が、高温において前記ファイバー上に硬化されたシラ ン化合物、好ましくはガンマーメタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシランであ る、請求項1〜4のいづれか1項記載の方法。 6.前記ファイバーに対する前記ポリマーの結合を促進せしめる剤を、前記フ ァイバーにポリマー粉末をコーティングする前に、前記ファイバー表面に適用す る、請求項3,4又は5記載の方法。 7.ファイバーとポリマーとを含んで成り、このポリマーが個々のファイバー の間に存在しており、且つファイバーの間にそれから溶媒の蒸発した溶液として 分布している、孔質プレプレグ。 8.前記孔質プレプレグが前記ポリマーの重合反応を開始せしめる能力をもつ 剤を含んで成る、請求項7記載のプレプレグ。 9.前記ファイバーがロービング、ロービング織物、織物マット、砕断糸マッ ト、短ファイバー、ホイスカーもしくは成形粒子、又はそれらの複合物である、 請求項7又は8記載のプレプレグ。 10.前記ポリマーの結合を促進するように前記ファイバーの表面が処理されて いる、請求項7,8又は9記載のプレプレグ。 11.前記ファイバーがガラスファイバーであり、前記ポリマーがポリメチルメ タクリレート(PMMA)、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート(EGDMA)、2, 2−ビス〔4−(2−ヒドロキシ−3−メタクロイルオキシ)フェニル〕−プロ パン(BIS GMA)又はヒドロキ シエチレンメタクリレート(HEMA)であり、そしてシラン化合物、好ましくはガ ンマーメタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシランが前記ファイバーの表面に適 用されている、請求項7〜10のいづれか1項記載のプレプレグ。 12.前記請求項のいづれか1項記載のプレプレグを使用してファイバー補強化 複合品を製造するための方法であって、 − 任意的に事前成形してある前記プレプレグに可塑剤を添加する、 − この可塑化プレプレグを所望の形状へと成形する、 − このプレプレグを前記複合品のプレーンポリマーの中に、又は前記ポリマー とモノマーとの混合物の中に包埋する、そして − 前記複合品のプレーンポリマーと同時に前記プレプレグのポリマーを重合さ せる、 段階を含んで成る方法。 13.得られる前記複合品を、更なる段階において、1もしくは複数の所望のブ ロック又は所望の形状へと機械仕上げする、請求項12記載の方法。 14.前記可塑剤が前記プレプレグの中で使用したポリマーのモノマーである、 請求項12又は13記載の方法。 15.前記プレプレグのポリマーが前記複合品のプレーンポリマーと同一のもの である、請求項12,13又は14記載の方法。 16.請求項1〜11のいづれか1項記載のプレプレグを含んで成るファイバー補 強化複合品であって、前記プレプレグがモノマーにより湿らされることにより可 塑化され、所望の形状へと成形され、そして前記複合品のプレーンポリマーの中 に包埋されたものであり、そして前記プレプレグのポリマーが前記複合品のプレ ーンポリマーと同時に重合されたものである、ファイバー補強化複合品。 17.医療又は歯科構築物、例えば歯科補てつ学、歯科矯正学又は整形外科的器 具;取外式義歯フレームワーク、取外式義歯クラスプ又は位置決めアタッチメン ト;歯及び移植片支持補てつを含む永久的又は一時的固定式補てつ;歯科又は医 療移植片;内視鏡により処置した歯の根管充填材;歯のポスト、コアもしくは充 填材又はクラウン;マウスガード等において利用するための請求項16記載の複合 品。
