However, the basic cleaning method of this apparatus is to inject a cleaning liquid onto a wire rope to drop grease. However, since the grease is very viscous, only the cleaning liquid is injected from a nozzle. Therefore, it is difficult to remove the grease, and even more, the grease is pushed into the gap between the wire ropes by spraying the cleaning liquid, which may make it difficult to remove the grease. Further, the cylindrical cleaning device main body provided with a nozzle for spraying the cleaning liquid is moved along a wire rope, but the cleaning liquid supply pipe and the cleaning liquid after cleaning are naturally attached to the cleaning device main body. Equipped with waste liquid collection pipes, the moving means for moving the cleaning device main body connected to these pipes along the wire rope is very large and very expensive. Further, the above-mentioned apparatus requires a facility for treating the collected waste liquid, and has a problem that the whole apparatus becomes large and the use place is limited due to the installation place and the like.

Are arranged at positions that divide the circumference into three equal parts on the inner surface of the rotary cylinder, and are arranged in two stages above and below with an interval in the height direction of the rotary cylinder 8. Then, the peeling claws 9 arranged vertically are shifted by a half pitch of the mounting interval (120 °) in the circumferential direction, so that the two upper and lower peeling claws 9 are equally spaced (60 °) in the circumferential direction. And the peeling claw 9 hits the entire peripheral surface, so that the frozen wire rope oil adhering to the outer peripheral surface of the wire rope 1 can be reliably scraped off. That is, when the peeling claw 9 is engaged with the twist of the wire rope 1 that moves in the vertical direction, and when the wire rope 1 is moved in the axial direction, the rotating cylinder 8 is moved in the circumferential direction through the peeling claw 9 that engages with the twist. The frozen wire rope oil adhering to the outer peripheral surface of the wire rope 1 is thereby scraped and removed uniformly. The movement of the wire rope 1 is performed by driving a winder c that moves up and down the door a.

The cleaning of removing the frozen wire rope oil adhering to the outer peripheral surface of the wire rope 1 is completed by passing through the scraping means A2. However, the wire rope is extremely low in temperature due to the above-described cleaning. The strength is significantly lower than at room temperature. Then, wire rope oil that has been cleaned is newly applied with wire rope oil. At this time, there is almost no impact on the wire rope 1 in the cleaning work including the application work.
A heating means A3 is arranged above the scraping means A2 in order to improve the impact strength and to improve the application of the wire rope oil. The heating means A3 includes a cylindrical body 18 having a through hole through which a wire rope is inserted, a hot air inlet 18a formed at a lower portion of a peripheral wall of the cylindrical body 18, and a hot air outlet 18b formed at an upper portion. Is connected to a heater 19 serving as a heat source by connecting a hot air supply pipe 19 '. In the figure, 21 is the cleaning device a described above.
This is a case in which the cooling / freezing means A1, the scraping means A2, and the heating means A3 are collectively stored.

Next, the operation of the cleaning device A will be described. First, wire rope oil 20 adheres to the outer peripheral surface of the wire rope 1 before cleaning (see FIG. 10 (a)).
In order to clean and remove the wire rope oil 20, the cleaning device A is installed in the middle of the movement route of the wire rope 1 (a position as close as possible to the winder c is preferable). Then, the cooling / freezing means A1 of the cleaning device A is operated to inject the liquid nitrogen of the frozen material 21 into the closed cylindrical body 2, and the wire rope 1 is moved upward at a predetermined speed in the inside, and the cooling / freezing means A1 is moved. A frozen material is sprayed from the nozzle 3 'of A1 toward the outer peripheral surface of the wire rope 1 to freeze and harden the wire rope oil 20. (See FIG. 10 (b).) Next, the wire rope 1 moves to the scraping means A2. Here, since the peeling claw 9 is engaged with the twist of the wire rope 1, the peeling is performed by the movement of the wire rope 1. The rotary cylinder 8 to which the claw 9 is attached is rotated in the circumferential direction with respect to the fixed outer frame 6, and as a result, the wire rope oil 20 ′ which has been freeze-hardened in the previous process is solidified by the peeling claw 9. It is scraped off from the surface of the wire rope 1. (Refer to Fig. 10 (c).) Then, the ultra-low temperature wire rope 1 from which the frozen wire rope oil 20 'has been scraped is heated by hot air to the operating range temperature by passing through the heating means A3, and the impact strength is recovered and the new one is obtained. Wire rope oil can be stably applied. (See Fig. 10 (d))

According to the wire rope cleaning method of the present invention, the wire rope oil adhered to the wire rope is freeze-hardened by the method described in claim 1, and the wire rope oil is scraped and removed in a solid mass. It can be removed cleanly, and the post-treatment of the removed and recovered wire rope oil can be packed in a drum or the like as it is, so that the workability is excellent. Further, by heating after removing the wire rope oil as described in claim 2, it is possible to recover the impact strength that is reduced by being exposed to an ultra-low temperature, and to a state suitable for applying new wire rope oil. Can be returned quickly. Furthermore, the cleaning device for carrying out the above-described cleaning method has a configuration according to claim 3, which is a compact device having a superior cleaning effect as compared with a conventional device in which viscous wire rope oil is washed off by spraying a cleaning material. It can be configured and can easily cope with on-site movement. Moreover, according to the configuration of the fourth aspect, since the rotary cylinder having the peeling claw attached thereto can be rotated in the circumferential direction by moving the wire rope, no power is required to rotate the rotary cylinder.
This contributes to the downsizing of the entire device. Further, in the case of the configuration described in claim 5, it is possible to quickly return to a state suitable for applying new wire rope oil after cleaning,
Cleaning work can be shortened.
